Mother's Day

I got to pick the activity for Mother's Day - so I really wanted to spend the day with the family and head to the Bronx Zoo.  We had a great time and then went to a "Little Italy" area near Fordham University.  It was a perfect way to celebrate !

Imitating Mommy being pregnant

Do I really make this face?

Putting dolls and animals under shirts is a common occurrence around this house.  Everyone want to be pregnant I guess!!!!  It's pretty funny :)

Golf!

For a brief time - our household was very into golf and golf equipment.  Daddy took Addie to the sporting goods store and brought back a kids golf set.  Addie was very intent on learning the sport in the store - but we she got home - she could care less about learning how to hit the ball and more interested in hitting things with the clubs.  Harrison - on the other hand - watched daddy and actually tried to hit the ball the right way!!!!!  Again he is proving he is WAAYYY more inclined to sports than Addie. :)

I love the city and what it has to offer.  One Saturday in May we decided to venture to the Intrepid Air and Space Museum.  It was really neat to see the aircraft that both of our fathers had spoken about over the course of their careers.  Addie and Harrison enjoyed seeing the planes and space shuttles.  Another great adventure!

Having fun with the Lynch girls and Katie

A real smile!

Typical new pose

I love rolling my tongue for pictures!
I just love this little girl.  She has put through the hardest mommying job ever - but I love every minute :)  She was really into her ballet/tap class at the YMCA and her favorite move was her "Hip Shake" move :)  Great.....  She is really into posing and funny faces right now.  She got another haircut right before her birthday and this time she didn't cry at all!!!!!  She also had a lot of fun at cousin Erin's bridal shower and was very proud to be the official "Ribbon Keeper".  She is truly filling the shoes of a true "Girly-Girl" :)

Early May

I wish I could say what he was doing or what milestones he was accomplishing in early May - but it was all so a blur.  As soon as we got home from my grandpa's funeral - we hit the ground running.  Between May and the end of June we had:  our 4th anniversary, my 34th birthday, Mother's Day, Addie's birthday, Memorial Day/Family Renunion, Addie's birthday party, my girl's weekend in Charleston, then San Diego.  Whew!!!!!!!!!!  So this post was on Harrison - I know that he had a few swimming lessons before Mommy got too pooped from all the preparation it took just to get him in the pool and then showered/ready to go home.  He loved the swimming lessons and took much kinder to the water and splashing than Addie ever did.  Maybe he will be my little swimmer :)  We will definitely continue once the baby is here.  He just has a great time playing with Addie and exploring the whole house everyday :)

Spring blooms!!!!  Had a lot of fun putting flowers on our porch!!!!  My favorite were the rannuculus - because I had them in my wedding flowers - but unfortunately they didn't handle the late spring frost :(
