1st Annual Girl's Weekend

I cannot tell you how long I have waiting for this weekend:  No kids, hanging out with my favorite girlfriends, enjoying beach time, a plane flight by myself, no kids, hanging out with my favorite people :)  Did I mention some of those twice???????   It seemed like babies, weddings, babies, etc kept coming into play and we kept putting this trip off.  So when the time came that every was on board to plan this girl's weekend - I got PREGNANT!!!! What!!????  No fun!!!!!  But it was still relaxing and fun and great to see my girls - even if I couldn't imbibe in my favorite drinks and get a little goofier than normal.  I also didn't have enough stamina to walk the beach or stay up late - but I couldn't have asked for a better time at this stage in the pregnancy.  We had great food, great conversation and only one causality - Erin falling on the boat during a bad rainstorm.  At least she didn't break anything or fall overboard :)  Can't wait for the next girl's weekend and maybe this time no one will be pregnant  - it certainly won't be me or Emily :)
