Bj is currently studying for his Surgical boards on the weekends so I thought it would be a good idea to get the kids out of the house for a while on Saturdays and enjoy Jersey City. We love the whole idea of Jersey City - feels much like Pittsburgh and it's so close to NYC without feeling like you are there amidst the craziness. So I figured why not see what it was like to parallel park my beast of a car every Saturday and maneuver the city with 3 kids in one stroller - it's very realistic!!! Plus, Addie is SUCH A HAM and I think theater is definitely in her blood. An acting class seemed to be the perfect fit for her. It ended up being such a cute class with all children 5 and under. They made props and acted out storybook each day. We never got to see the final production as Addie chose her best friend Camille's birthday over the play - but, I get it. Anyway, it was a great experience and it really was a nice bonding experience with me and the kids. We took picnic lunches each time and ate at Van Vorst Park and then played on the playground. It was quite stressful at times with all 3 - but it was worth the trips.
