1 day away from due date

I guess you could call it nesting - or maybe it's just me trying to keep busy. Woke up this morning and didn't feel like laying around. I vaccuumed the inside of my car and washed it {1 hour before it started pouring down rain}, then I gave Blue a bath, vaccuumed the house, cleaned all countertops, and assembled the baby bouncer. Then I re-arranged all of the baby items in her room....

Took a picture of Blue inside my car. It was hilarious this morning - the poor pup just wanted to go somewhere - first he hopped in BJ's car and then got in mine as I was cleaning the inside. He refused to leave the front seat - even when I went inside the house!!!!

4 MORE DAYS!!!

I am beginning to wonder if this little girl really wants to come out and meet us!!!! No contractions - nothing. Maybe I am feeding her too well :) In either case, the doctor took pity on me and I am going to be induced on May 28th if she doesn't arrive sooner. I think that Addie is either stubborn like her mother or has some well-thought out plan like her father. I just want the labor/delivery part over with and I want to hold our little baby!!!!

About the only thing making me smile right now is the fact that the little chick on my header has moved all the way from the left to the right - can't believe I have almost made it to the 40 week marker!!!! I am feeling proud of my progress :) So now I have a birthday and a baby to go!

Happy One Year Anniversary!

BJ's new baby....

Unfortunately the white Hyundai Sonata had hit its limit - it was a good ol' car and served BJ well, but it had been in the shop one too many times in the last 2 years. With a new baby on the way, it was time to get a more reliable car. And here it is - the new addition to our family....

How did I get to 38 weeks?????

Wow - time certainly flies - I am already 38 weeks pregnant. This weekend is our 1st year anniversary. Its hard to imagine that one year ago we were all gathered at the Morning Glory Inn in Pittsburgh with all of our wonderful family and friends. It's a little sad to think about that day because it was one of the happiest days of my life and it went by so quickly. But then I also realize that we've accomplished quite a bit in one year - new city, new jobs, 2 house rentals, new car, and now just weeks away from our new baby! Life truly is all about changes and we have had our share this year. I am just happy that everyone is healthy and we are about to welcome a blessing into our lives.
