WE'VE MOVED..........AGAIN!!!

WE'VE MOVED.....AGAIN!!!

After living in NC for almost 6 months - we found that we like Chapel Hill much more than Durham. Now I know that it's only about 15 minutes away - but trust me, its a whole other world!!! Chapel Hill somewhat reminds us of our old city life. There is much more to do and Franklin St is right near UNC and filled with restaurants and shops. We moved to a smaller 1-story home in a great neighborhood. I just love the "feel" of it and I think we will be much happier as we prepare for the baby. My parents came in town and helped with the moving and "setting up camp" - I don't know what I would have done if they hadn't helped out!!! Being pregnant and moving house doesn't work well - I was exhausted after one day of moving! My parents really liked the new area - which is good because I plan to have them visit often :) Picture of the house to follow

These are a few of my favorite things.....

So - you may be wondering how these pictures go together- so....2 weeks ago BJ and I decided to make a major purchase - a KING SIZE bed!!!! We went to Macy's and picked out a very comfortable pillowtop mattress. We scheduled to have it delivered to our new house the day after Thanksgiving. I was all excited until....I saw a new Macy's commercial this past weekend!!! The ad read that if you bought a new Serta mattress between now and Nov. 19th, you could get a FREE GARMIN GPS system!!!! I about died!! Why do I always seem to purchase things RIGHT before they go on sale or have some great deal??? Just my luck - I have been begging for a GPS system FOREVER since I always seem to get lost. The problem is that they are quite expensive. So I made a phone call to our lovely sales rep "Steve" at Macy's, returned our first mattress, repurchased the same one, and WHA-LAH - I will soon be the owner of a Garmin Nuvi 205 :) I am beaming from ear-to-eat. Way to get 2 things I want in one purchase.

Amos Lee Concert

Bj and I had a FABULOUS time on Saturday night. We have been huge fans of Amos Lee (native of Philly) for quite some time. We were quite jazzed when we found out that he was coming to Raleigh - we booked tickets immediately. I hadn't felt too well Saturday morning and I just prayed that I would feel "normal" later that night because I wanted a date night!!!! Luckily, I did start feeling much better by the time we left that night (thanks baby!). BJ and I had a great dinner at this Irish Pub in downtown Raleigh and then headed to a smaller venue to hear Amos Lee. He was everything I had anticipated - and more!! His voice was beautiful and he played all of our favorite songs. We had so much fun that night - probably the best night we've had since we moved here. If anyone would like to hear Amos Lee - check him out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bmyq7JgdeM4 - it our favorite song "Arms of a Woman".
